Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 July 2026
Middle Names Generator ("we", "us", "this site") is operated from the United Kingdom. This policy explains what information is processed when you use middlenamesgenerator.com and your rights over it. The short version: the names you type stay on your device, and the only data processing on this site relates to keeping it running and showing the advertising that keeps it free.
1. The names you type
All name-checking tools on this site run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The names you enter are not transmitted to, processed by, or stored on our servers or any third-party server. When you close the page, they're gone. The text-to-speech feature uses your own device's built-in speech engine.
2. Information we do process
- Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically logs IP addresses, browser type, pages requested and timestamps for security and error diagnosis. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not used to identify individuals.
- Advertising data. We display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, measure their performance, and — where you have consented — personalise them. This is described in section 3.
- Consent choices. A cookie records your cookie consent choice so we don't ask you on every visit.
We do not run accounts, newsletters, comment sections or contact forms that collect personal data. If you email us (see Contact), we process your email address solely to reply.
3. Advertising and third-party cookies
This site uses Google AdSense. Key points:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ad Centre, and manage many other vendors' cookies at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu.
- Visitors in the UK and European Economic Area are shown a consent message before any non-essential cookies are set, in line with UK GDPR and the ePrivacy rules. If you decline, ads may still appear but will be non-personalised.
A list of the advertising cookies used and their purposes is in our Cookie Policy.
4. Legal bases
Where UK GDPR applies, we rely on: consent for personalised advertising cookies; legitimate interests for security logging, non-personalised advertising and keeping the site functioning; and legal obligation where retention is required by law.
5. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection regarding personal data we hold. Because we hold almost none, most requests will be directed to the relevant advertising provider — but email us and we'll help you route it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
6. Children
This site is intended for expectant parents and other adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and the tools require no personal data to use.
7. Changes
We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage.
8. Contact
